Company Uniqueness Summary
Oil Company Experience of Company Key Directors
Mr. Clavareau Dr. Schumacher are geologists who have worked for exploration companies; Dr. Schumacher spent 20 years with Phillips Petroleum and Pennzoil working US and International projects; Mr. Clavareau has worked around the world as a petroleum geologist.
E&P GeoFS is one of the few (POSSIBLE THE ONLY) Surface Geochemistry exploration companies whose leadership has actually worked as petroleum exploration geologists and is thus uniquely aware of what information and data format the client needs. The company was founded in 2003, based in Paris since 2008 and Singapore since 2016.
Breadth and Depth of Geochemical Exploration Experience
Mr. Luigi has dedicated over 25 years to organizing and conducting surface geochemical exploration surveys worldwide. He has played an active role in developing sampling and analytical techniques for hydrocarbons and hydrogen, contributing to advancements in the field.
Dr. Schumacher, introduced to petroleum geology and geochemistry by Phillips, has spent 40 years acquiring and interpreting surface geochemical data. His extensive expertise has led to the publication of numerous articles, and he has authored several books on the topic.
Both professionals are highly regarded in the industry for their deep knowledge of hydrocarbon and hydrogen exploration surveys, bringing decades of scientific insight and practical experience to the field.
Global Experience

The Key Directors of E&P GeoField Services were co-founders of GeoMicrobial Tech International France and GMT South America, having previously worked for their predecessor, GeoMicrobial Technologies USA.
With experience spanning more than 60 countries, our team has successfully conducted geochemical surveys in diverse environments, from tropical forests to the Arctic, from jungles to deserts to grasslands. We are likely among the most experienced teams in jungles and desert geochemical exploration, having conducted extensive surveys across North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Australia, and the Americas.
Exploration Philosophy & Techniques
Through years of experience, we have gained deep insights into the strengths and limitations of various hydrocarbon detection methods. To ensure high-quality data acquisition, our approach relies on a combination of independent yet complementary techniques, allowing us to adapt to local conditions.
- Primary Methods – Microbial, Soil Gas (acid extraction), and Fluorescence
- Supplementary Techniques – Additional methods deployed as needed based on project-specific demands
A critical factor in geochemical survey accuracy is sampling density—the primary source of ambiguity or interpretation errors often stems from under-sampling (i.e., collecting too few samples for the exploration objective). Our methodology prioritizes comprehensive data collection, ensuring precise and reliable analysis.
