Geology for Non Geologists

This 2 to three days course is designed to provide basic knowledge about petroleum geology, exploration, drilling, production, and the overall business of the petroleum industry. Participants will learn about petroleum geology from the formation of oil and gas, characteristics of petroleum systems, and the use of geological data in petroleum exploration.

Participants will also learn about the process of well drilling and well completion from their methodology and techniques applied in operations. Lastly this course will sum up an integrated approach of the technical and business perspective of the industry, through identification of the financial aspects that affect how companies operate.
